PAULA SANCHEZ

Paula was diagnosed autistic in her mid-40s and has a personal and academic interest in the experiences and well-being of autistic women and girls, particularly the impact of male-bias, stereotypes and social expectations. Having previously worked in the homelessness sector and in the probation service, she is now a PhD student at London South Bank University researching autistic motherhood, and is part of a research team exploring support needs and well-being of older autistic adults and their family carers.
