She is a journalist and masters student in Communication, co-founder, project manager, reporter, editor and dreamer in Afirmativa Magazine – Black and Feminist Media Collective (“Revista Afirmativa – Coletivo de Mídia Negra e Feminista”)
Alane is a member of Odara Black Woman Institute (“Odara Instituto da Mulher Negra”); Black Women from Brazil’s Northeast Region Network (“Rede de Mulheres Negras da Região Nordeste do Brasil”); and National Articulation of Young Black Feminist Women (“Articulação Nacional de Negras Jovens Feministas” – ANJF).
Project: Black women transnational narratives - For the fight against patriarchal racism and colonialism in Latin America. The project aims to undertake experiences exchange between black feminists media platforms in Latin America, resulting in a webinar around this thematic and a cycle of political professional workshops with black communicators from media platforms and black women organisations
