WHAT DOES A 'NO DEAL' BREXIT MEAN FOR WOMEN?

A representative panel to discuss the economic and legal impact of a no deal Brexit on women, women’s rights and gender equality. To include an explanation of what no deal means for the economy and how this will affect women’s jobs and livelihoods; NHS funding and staff shortages and; the threat to our hard-earned working rights in the event of a ‘race to the bottom’ to secure free trade agreements. Loss of EU directives combined with a government intent on ‘cutting red tape’ – so often used as a euphemism for women’s working protections – represents a real threat to gender equality.
