Zuhra Bahman is a feminist from Afghanistan. She started her work as a child activist fighting the abhorrent rules the Taliban imposed on Afghan women and girl children. As an activist, Zuhra focuses on betterment of Afghan women's lives in the post-Taliban Afghanistan through advocacy and lobbying as well as provision of support to women victims of violence.
Presently Zuhra is a doctorate researcher at University of Sussex with a focus on Afghan women's experience of risk in reproduction and maternity.
Zuhra runs a scholarship program giving Afghan women midwifery skills.
