Charlotte is a barrister, expert in female genital mutilation (FGM), forced marriage, and honour-based violence, and media commentator on women’s rights. Charlotte speaks and writes about gender-based legal reforms on issues such as FGM, forced marriage, workplace sexual harassment, quotas for women, prostitution, and rape laws.
Combining legal practice and academia, Charlotte has just completed her Doctorate at the University of Cambridge where she researched FGM law in England. She is also a former Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School.
