MEGAN WALKER

Megan Walker is the Executive Director of the London Abused Women’s Centre (Ontario, Canada). She is a radical feminist who walks the talk. Megan is a strong and effective women’s rights advocate who is fearless in challenging patriarchy. 

She has worked successfully with all levels of government initiating legislative changes for abused, prostituted and sexually exploited women and girls.

Megan’s goal is to address the root cause of male violence and shift the culture for future generations.

Megan Walker, of the London Abused Women’s Centre (Canada), will share information about specialized programs providing service to sexually exploited and trafficked women and girls over the age of 12. The London Abused Women’s Centre (LAWC), along with its partners in justice, youth, peer support and technology, provide Project Phoenix and the Choices Program. More than 1,000 sexually exploited and at risk youth have been provided with service. International counselling is provided by phone or Skype and technology is used to find girls reported missing across Canada.
