Chelsea Saynor-Young is a newcomer to the ADHD party, a lover of crochet and all things vintage, an educator, Psychology student and the founder of the Thaleia Project.
In it's infancy the Thaleia Project is a wellbeing and empowerment project based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The project was founded with the primary aim of educating and supporting those who work with girls and young women on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and associated conditions.
Work to date includes training sessions, talks to professionals, and craft workshops for young women based around the promotion of self-care. Future work will hopefully include girls only peer support groups focussing on mental wellbeing, more training and awareness events, and a variety of training and support packages for young women, professionals and parents.
