Hanna and Camilla are feminist teachers and researchers, who are passionate about education for girls and young women. Hanna is a MPhil/PhD student at the UCL Institute of Education where she is researching feminist subjectivities and feminist teen activism in secondary school spaces. Hanna teaches English Language and Literature in a London school as well as running a feminist group for teenagers. Camilla has taught English and dance in inner-London schools and colleges since 2006, and is currently studying for a PhD in Education at Goldsmiths, University of London. As part of her research she is developing a feminist dance programme for girls and young women in North East London, and in 2013 won the BERA/Sage Practitioner of the Year Award for Research in an under-18 setting.
