Anna Zobina

Born in St.Petersburg, Russia, Anna lives in Cyprus and works as Research Analyst with the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies – one of the founding members of ENoMW. Anna’s research and activities are focused on intersectional and structural feminist analysis of gendered discriminations, with specific emphasis on violence against women, care economy, migration, sexual exploitation and knowledge production. In May 2014 she was elected Chair of ENoMW. In this role she works on capacity-building of migrant women NGOs in Europe and strengthening representation and inclusion of migrant women in the EU policy and decision-making,  across such diverse areas as access to justice, citizenship, labour participation, sexual & reproductive rights and non-discrimination. Anna’s biggest passion is feminism and bridging gap between theory and practice.
