Josephine Bartosch

Jo Bartosch founded the group Chelt Fems, a network of feminist activists, academics and professionals which has grown to become one of the most vibrant campaign groups in the South West of England.  She chaired the group for seven years before stepping down in March 2017 to take a place as co-director of the newly formed ‘Critical Sisters’.  Critical Sisters aims to offer a platform for marginal feminist opinion, with a particular emphasis on unravelling the twin man-made beliefs of gender and religion.

As a part time journalist and researcher, Jo writes a regular column about feminism for her local paper and contributes articles to radical feminist magazines across the globe.
