Julia has wide ranging experience of working with the promotion and protection of human rights, specifically focusing on the rights of women and children. She has undertaken research pertaining to gender-based violence (GBV), child marriage, and women’s participant in conflict resolution. She holds an LL.M. in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and an LL.B. in International and European Law from the University of Sheffield.
