PORTSMOUTH GUILDHALL

A small number of the FiLiA team visited the Portsmouth Guildhall again to have another look around. We went along with our new arts lead, who came away very excited about the potential. We will be creating a venue and logistics page soon with all the information you need for your visit.

In the meantime - HERE is some accessibility information about the venue (we will be adding more information soon). We will also be putting up information about local hotels and nearby places to eat, including the Square Kitchen on site.

RADICAL GIRLSSS

We had a Skype call with the Radical Girlsss who are currently fundraising for their annual Feminist Summer Camp - do support if you can.

Also a bit of exciting news - FiLiA will be launching a new Young Feminists section on our website this week. Radical Girlsss will be taking over this space, talking about the things that matter most to them and building links with other Young Feminist organisations and individuals. Watch this space!

ISRAELI ABOLITIONIST FEMINISM

We spoke with Luba Fein, an Israeli abolitionist and active member of the Women's Organisations Coalition against Prostitution and Trafficking. Luba wrote a recent blog for FiLiA called ‘Israel and strip clubs. Did we win?’.

We continued our conversations that began at FiLiA2019 and started planning ahead too.
