Women's March, Manchester 2021

Last weekend, Gemma Aitchison attended the Women's March For Justice in Manchester. Home of the Pankhursts, and of the Pankhurst statue. Women of multiple classes, races, disabilities, ages and organisations all coming together to say ENOUGH.

25th April 2020 - General update

FiLiA has always taken an unapologetic abolitionist view of the sex industry. Many times we have been challenged, usually via long emails from academics or shouty students holding placards (incidentally the same student population which is targeted by lobbyists for the sex trade due to their age and relative poverty).

12th March 2020 - #SilencedByJustice demonstration / Mujer 2020

FiLiA was pleased to join a variety of specialist services outside Westminster Magistrates Court today to protest at how women are #SilencedByJustice. The event organised by Standing Together and Women and Girls Network included speeches from EVAW, Rights of Women, Centre for Women’s Justice and we left the final words to Natalie and those survivors who contact #TheCourtSaid.
