Open Letter: Allegations of the Use of Chemical Weapons by Turkey

Today, on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of all Victims of Chemical Warfare more than 130 civil society organisations, including FiLiA, and activists from 24 countries, published an open letter on allegations of the use of chemical weapons by Turkey.

The signatories include the renowned political theorist Silvia Federici, the General Secretary of EU Turkey Civic Commission Prof Michael Gunter, the co-founder of DiEM25 and Progressive International Srecko Horvat, writer Ava Homa, actress Maxine Peake and many more.

The open letter includes important recommendations to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which is currently having its annual meeting, the Turkish Government, the Kurdistan Regional Government and concerned governments.
