FiLiA Activity Report

It is now over a decade since FiLiA was formed (originally as Feminism in London), and so much has happened since. We expanded from a one-day to a three-day event as we realised that it was impossible to fit everything into 24 hours. Our conferences now bring well over 1,000 attendees each year from all over the world – a monumental volunteer effort with no conference funding, reflecting the drive for Women to gather, organise and mobilise.

We are a grassroots charity, working towards our aims of building sisterhood and solidarity, amplifying the voices of Women and defending Women’s human rights. We know that when Women come together, magic happens!
